Job location: Columbus, NC.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate and supervise a team of skilled workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Manage project schedules, including material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or potential risks.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and project updates.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Salary and Benefits
Salary at $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
