About the Role At Xcaliber International, our Territory Managers are the connection point between our brands, our customers, and the markets we serve. This position is designed for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys relationship building, and takes pride in achieving visible results. It is a field‑based role that supports independent retailers and distributors while expanding Xcaliber’s market presence and maintaining the company’s strong reputation for excellence.
A Day in the Life Each day begins by reviewing your territory plan, shipment reports, and priorities before heading into the field. You spend your day visiting established and new retail accounts, meeting owners and managers, ensuring product availability, and executing marketing programs. You focus on visibility, brand education, and compliance with company merchandising standards.
You discuss pricing, inventory, promotions, and competitive activity, ensuring that each store is fully stocked and that products are displayed to brand standards. You may assist a new retailer with onboarding or help with an existing account plan for upcoming promotions. On average you visit 12 accounts each day.
Throughout the year, you will participate in mandatory travel for national sales meetings, regional crew drives, and sales conventions. These events are essential for professional development, teamwork, and alignment across the sales organization. Daily in‑territory driving is required to maintain a strong field presence and service all assigned accounts.
What You Will Do
Manage and grow an assigned territory through account visits, direct sales, and distributor coordination.
Build long‑term relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and key stakeholders.
Execute company sales and merchandising programs to increase visibility and volume.
Introduce Xcaliber products into new retail locations and strengthen product placement at existing accounts.
Achieve assigned sales goals and brand‑building targets.
Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and marketing programs.
Provide regular market feedback to leadership on competitive activity and consumer trends.
Participate in mandatory travel for national and regional company meetings, crew drives, and industry conventions.
Conduct daily travel within the assigned territory to visit accounts and maintain market visibility.
Requirements
Three or more years of field sales, territory management, or account development experience.
Background in tobacco, beverage, snack, or consumer goods industries preferred.
Proven ability to drive territory growth and meet performance targets.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision‑makers.
High degree of organization, attention to detail, and self‑motivation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work outdoors for short periods.
