The School sponsors over 300 recitals, concerts, operas, masterclasses, and lectures each academic year. Degrees offered include the Ph.D. (with concentrations in composition, experimental music and digital media, music education, musicology, and music theory), DMA (concentrations in music performance, collaborative piano, and choral, orchestral, and wind conducting,), MM, BM, BME, and BA (Liberal Arts). LSU also has an innovative and collaborative media arts community; The Center for Computation & Technology (CCT) includes Experimental Music & Digital Media, Digital Media Arts & Engineering, and Digital Arts, offering opportunities to compose for video games, digital animations, and film.
LSU has an enrollment of over 33,000 students.
