Molex is rapidly growing and seeking a new Project Manager to join our team in Hudson, WI. The Project Manager will work within our research and development team, supporting our new product development efforts. We are seeking an experienced project manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has experience in product development, R&D, or manufacturing setting.
Our Team Molex's Optical Connectivity Group is at the forefront of designing and delivering cutting‑edge optical solutions that power data centers, telecom infrastructure, and next‑gen computing. What You Will Do
Contribute to the successful execution of Engineering R&D projects for the Optical Connectivity team
Initiate and lead project status meetings, capture and distribute assigned action‑items
Contribute to and lead continuous improvement efforts to manage and organize project‑related documents
Collaborate with Molex corporate Program/Project Management colleagues
Build & track project schedules/deliverables on concurrent R&D activities
Adapt to and manage change, assess priorities and establish work‑around plans
Track the release of engineering documents to production facilities ensuring timelines are maintained
Efficiently and effectively communicate project expectations
Establish and communicate project action‑items holding responsible parties accountable
Communicate with other R&D teams in the US and abroad to maintain delivery schedules
Function in a fast‑paced, growing and creative environment
Additional responsibilities may arise as the position develops in maturity
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience leading projects in a product development, R&D, or manufacturing environment
Experience successfully executing projects in a fast‑paced environment
Experience leading project communications across a diverse set of audiences
Proven ability to operate in an experimental environment, where project needs often change direction under short notice
