We are seeking a highly experienced Process Architect, SAP Process Enablement – Procure to Pay to join our team. In this role you will provide strategic guidance and leadership on SAP‑based business processes, leveraging modern SAP capabilities like S/4HANA and Signavio. You will collaborate closely with business teams that rely on SAP daily to identify process improvement opportunities and lead efforts to implement them. Your role will also include mentoring end users, enabling adoption of new SAP capabilities, and ensuring successful collaboration between business and SAP technology teams.
We are hiring for three domain‑specific architects: Order to Cash (Sales & Distribution), Procure to Pay (Materials Management), and Record to Report (Financial Accounting & Controlling).
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership
Use tools like SAP Signavio and Celonis to analyze current‑state SAP process performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate directly with business teams to understand current pain points and future needs.
Develop high‑level process maps and define both current (ECC) and future (S/4HANA) state workflows.
Support the creation of technical blueprints by SAP Technology teams using insights from process mining tools.
Develop change management strategies tied to SAP process transformation.
Educate and influence business stakeholders on how process improvement can be achieved through optimized SAP usage.
Project Management & Execution
Develop strategic roadmaps in partnership with business and technology teams, aimed at enhancing SAP‑based processes.
Support SAP implementation projects and ensure seamless adoption of new capabilities.
Ensure that business teams are properly trained and enabled to run SAP effectively post‑implementation.
Team Development & Mentorship
Identify and mentor business users to grow into SAP Super Users.
Collaborate with fellow SAP Process Architects to establish and maintain an internal SAP Super User Network.
Design and implement development plans for super users.
Lead training sessions and provide ongoing support to super users focused on SAP best practices.
Qualifications
Educational: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
10–15 years of experience in one or more SAP core process modules: Sales & Distribution (Order to Cash), Materials Management (Procure to Pay), Financial Accounting & Controlling (Record to Report).
Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience supporting SAP in real‑world business operations or transformation initiatives.
Strong track record of influencing stakeholders across multiple levels.
Demonstrated ability to mentor others in SAP‑based processes and change adoption.
Skills
Expertise in SAP functionality including process design, data management, and configuration.
Strong communication skills—capable of translating complex SAP concepts into business‑friendly language.
Ability to lead, coach, and support SAP process excellence across teams.
The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $156,900.00 and $184,600.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. In addition to the determined base salary, this role is also incentive eligible under our corporate bonus programs. For remote roles where the final candidate resides in Alaska, California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Oregon or Washington, state‑required pay thresholds will be factored into base salary.
