As a
Project Manager
at trü frü, you will play a key role in driving critical initiatives that support our continued growth. In this position, you will help lead projects tied to commercialization and innovation, including new product development, packaging enhancements, and overall portfolio optimization. You will work closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams to coordinate efforts, facilitate project meetings, and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to high‑impact initiatives and help bring trü frü’s strategic vision to life.
What you will do
Own and maintain end‑to‑end project plans, ensuring clear task ownership, dependencies, decision points, and escalation paths across all functions.
Proactively identify, assess, and escape risks and issues using defined PMO escalation paths to enable timely decision‑making and minimize downstream impact.
Drive cross‑functional alignment by facilitating clear decision‑making forums, ensuring stakeholders understand priorities, trade‑offs, and impacts.
Scope, plan, and manage multiple projects by setting goals, building plans, allocating resources and budgets, identifying risks, developing contingency and change‑management plans, and defining KPIs.
Execute with excellence by maintaining accurate timelines, clarifying responsibilities, anticipating and mitigating risks, tracking KPIs, monitoring progress, and ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery while managing stakeholder communication.
Lead and organize cross‑functional teams to effectively resolve complex issues.
Develop a deep understanding of trü frü's innovation, operations, and commercial activities to guide strategic thinking, not just timeline management.
Understand the full business case—including consumer insights, financials, marketing needs, and operational and supply‑chain impacts—to act as a strong thought partner.
Apply and share project management best practices that enable team success.
Follow the trü frü stage‑gate model and help refine the commercialization process to improve value, speed, and quality in a cost‑effective way.
You are
An experienced program and project manager with a proven track record of results.
Effective at influencing without authority across diverse functional teams.
Experienced in managing change and ambiguity across cross‑functional teams.
A strong collaborator who drives change, influences effectively, and builds alignment across teams.
Highly organized and capable of managing complex projects and multiple priorities.
A clear and compelling communicator, both written and verbal.
A strong problem solver with a bias for action in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments.
Comfortable leading cross‑functional teams in resource‑constrained, multi‑stakeholder settings.
Flexible, forward‑thinking, and solutions‑oriented, with an owner’s mindset.

Driven, curious, level‑headed, and quick to learn.
At least 5 years of experience in program and project management.
Experience in CPG, with food industry experience preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s or MBA a plus.
Strong understanding of how CPG companies and large retailers operate.
Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
A proven track record of executing programs and projects using a stage‑gate process.
Experience with Project Management tools such as Monday.com (preferred), Smart Sheets, MS Project, etc.
