Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of all clinical education activities delineated in the HRSA Ryan White federally funded Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center’s (NECA AETC’s) workplan for the Upstate Regional Partner, including supervising and working with team members in planning, coordinating and implementing AETC-sponsored programs in Upstate NY.

The Senior Program Coordinator is the main point of contact to complete narrative grant reports for the AETC Central Office such as mid-year and end-of-year documentation. In this position, the Senior Program Coordinator will serve as the Practice Transformation (PTP) Coach for Finger Lakes Community Health where he/she manages all activities in the workplan, schedules meetings with PTP stakeholders and completes documentation requirements delineated by the Central Office. The Senior Program Coordinator initiates and/or oversees the needs assessment process and education coordination with his/her staff for community and correctional sites in Upstate New York.

In this role, the Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for preparing/reviewing grant-funded continuing education applications, documenting event records to ensure requirements are met, overseeing curricula development, introducing speakers at certain events, serving on workgroups and advising on contributions to the Upstate portion of the AETC website. In addition, the Senior Program Coordinator is charged with entering data in the online project management system (E2NECA) and performing a monthly review of the data to direct programming efforts to ensure workplan goals and projections are achieved. He/she will advise, edit and oversee all NECA AETC marketing with AMC staff consistent with guidelines from the AETC Central Office and various accreditation bodies.

Strong writing skills and computer/technical experience and proficiency in the following is required including: WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as well as the ability and willingness to learn new software/mediums.
