Job Overview This position is onsite in Rayville, LA. Work schedule: 7 days on (7 AM–7 PM) followed by 7 days off. Starting salary is 70–90 K per year, depending on experience, with eligibility for an annual bonus. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates willing to move.

Summary Construction Logistics and Transportation Manager: primary liaison between general contractors and logistics teams, managing the project plan, coordinating flow of materials and equipment to the site, advocating for general contractors to align deliveries with project timelines, and ensuring timely issue resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Primary liaison between General Contractors & Logistics teams managing the project plan.

Coordinate flow of materials and equipment to the site.

Advocate for General Contractors to align deliveries with shifting project timelines and plans to avoid bottlenecks or site congestion.

Interface directly with the customer to resolve issues promptly and uphold high satisfaction.

Strategic operational planning and execution.

Identify and solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.

Hire, supervise, develop, and manage performance of employees and maintain positive employee relations.

Maintain open and effective communication within workgroups and with other groups within the organization.

Review data, identify, and implement necessary actions.

May manage the profit and loss statements based on complexity and scope.

Lead a proactive safety program, enforce safety plans, and monitor equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.

Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred.

5+ years relevant experience in supply chain logistics or related industry.

5+ years managing and developing direct reports.

3+ years profit & loss responsibility (preferred).

1+ year customer interaction (preferred).
