We are a
100% employee-owned , family‑run heavy civil construction company that self‑performs concrete work, underground utility installation, and roadway/grading operations. We’re currently seeking an experienced
Foreman
to lead field operations on the dirt and grading side. The ideal candidate has a solid background in civil site work and is confident managing crews and heavy equipment to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily grading activities including site prep, earthwork, and crew oversight
Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment for excavation, grading, and backfilling
Review project specifications with the Superintendent and Management team to plan grading operations and sequencing
Ensure site safety, compliance with plans, and timely execution of tasks
Proficient in maintaining grade alignment using laser levels, grade rods, transit levels, and GPS/Trimble systems
Inspect ongoing work to ensure adherence to project standards and deadlines
Coordinate with subcontractors and other field teams as needed

Requirements
5+ years of experience in civil grading/site work
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficient in reading site plans and using grading instruments
Ability to manage crews and work hands‑on when needed
Valid driver’s license
