Position Overview We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of a 385‑unit apartment community in Lexington, KY. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands‑on leader with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage a team. You must have strong HVAC and CPO certifications, a passion for providing excellent service, and the ability to handle on‑call duties every 3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance operations for the property
Perform routine HVAC repairs and maintenance
Manage and lead maintenance staff to ensure high‑quality work
Handle emergency on‑call maintenance requests (on‑call rotation every 3 weeks)
Ensure property cleanliness and functionality for residents
Assist with budget management and inventory control
Collaborate with property management to prioritize and resolve issues
Required Qualifications
HVAC
certification required
CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
certification required
3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, with leadership experience
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailMust be available for on‑call rotation every 3 weeks
Excellent communication and team management skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
