Social Science/ Humanities Research Associate III Hiring Department: Educational Leadership and Policy

Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Oct 31, 2027

Position Overview This position will be housed in the Education Research Center (ERC) in the College of Education at UT Austin. It will report to Pedro Reyes, PhD., Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy and Celeste Alexander, PhD., Director, ERC. The position is funded by multiple grants, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, with potential additional funding.

Compensation $50,000+ depending on qualifications

Responsibilities

Perform statistical programming and data gathering support

Interpret data, write reports, and create data visualizations

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in statistics, psychology, education, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in statistics, psychology, education, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
