Housekeeping Dispatcher at Loews Hotels & Co.
Location: Loews Kansas City Hotel, Kansas City, MO.
Job Summary: The Housekeeping Dispatcher coordinates housekeeping operations, manages communication between front desk, floor managers, and housekeeping staff, ensures correct room status, and maintains logs and schedules.
Responsibilities
Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
Monitor and respond to dispatch radio communications.
Dispatch guest, telecom, and supervisor calls to appropriate parties.
Maintain daily housekeeping logs and sign‑in/out sheets.
Reconcile boards and keys at end of shift.
Track and adjust time logs for payroll.
Maintain count of daily hours for all housekeeping personnel.
Prepare attendance reports for late or absent employees.
Communicate with Front Office and Floor Managers to verify status of all guest rooms.
Enter data into computer to keep room status information accurate and up‑to‑date.
Perform all duties in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
General Requirements

Notify relevant individuals promptly and fully regarding problems or unusual matters of significance.
Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow employees.
Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards.

Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area.
Adhere to hotel standards, policies, and rules.
Recycle whenever possible.
Stay current with hotel information and changes.
Maintain uniform and grooming standards.
