The Physical Plant office supports, manages, and maintains 75 acres of campus and nearly 1 million square feet of instruction space, as well as supporting every school department with vital campus services. Punahou School is currently seeking a Groundsman who is responsible primarily for the upkeep and general beautification of the grounds on the Punahou campus. Other responsibilities include campus landscape, grounds cleaning, exterior pest/animal control, tree trimming, planting, irrigation and field-lining for athletic events.
This position requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and will provide skilled and semi‑skilled grounds maintenance support within the Physical Plant department.
Position Details
Work Year: 12 Months
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (must be flexible to work beyond scheduled hours and/or weekends as needed)
Minimum Hourly Rate*: $25.00/Hour – compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated.
