Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred
Certification to operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) with intermediate proficiency required
Could be required to operate manual or automated warehouse/manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging line) with intermediate proficiency preferred
Powered industrial truck certification
Basic reading, mathematics, and English for safety, work instructions, and policies
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to enter data into the WMS computer system
Ready to work overtime as scheduled
Strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail
Responsibilities
Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring accurate scanning and training dock employees on new procedures.
Secure the facility at shift end and investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
Pursue picking and packing duties and check for product or container damage.
Follow all location policies and procedures for material handling.
Perform material moves as required by associated transactions.
Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations.
Maintain housekeeping in the assigned area.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, a road test, and/or background checks or badging required by the customer.
