Environmental Services Clean Water Division
as a
Wastewater Video Technician Trainee ! The City of Springfield's sanitary sewer collection system is an extensive and growing infrastructure that carries wastewater from area industries, businesses, and residences to the wastewater treatment plants. The Clean Water Services Division runs two-person crews who perform TV inspections on miles of sewer pipe yearly. The crews operate a camera for internal pipe inspections. As a Wastewater Video Technician Trainee, you would receive on-the-job training and assist with sewer inspection and rehabilitation by inspecting sewer mains and manholes using a variety of equipment including acoustic sound devices, manhole cameras, CCTV equipment, and sewer manhole scanners, and by collecting GPS coordinate info.

Experience, Education, and Training
One year of experience in sewer repair, computer experience or related field;
Experience can include any combination of vocational or technical training or education in a construction or computer related area.
Licensing/Certification
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Preferred
PACP and MACP certification.
