Non-Oncology Infusion and Classical Hematology NP at Banner-University Medical Center/University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ

We are actively recruiting for an outstanding Classical Hematology and Infusion Services NP to join our division in Tucson, Arizona. Our current team consists of 20 Faculty in total: 13 Solid Tumor and 7 Hematologist physicians and 13 APP's within the Division of Hematology Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to work in only one of 57 NCI Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States. The University of Arizona Cancer Center maintains FACT accreditation for hematopoietic stem cell and cellular therapies providing state of the art treatment for patients with hematologic malignancies. These accreditations signify our commitment that our patients will receive the highest quality and cutting-edge clinical care and treatment. Our NCI designation ensures that we have a comprehensive clinical trials program, which expands clinical options for our patients.

This is an exciting NP role that will support our classical hematology program and ambulatory infusion center at 1891 W Orange Grove Road, Tucson AZ. Our Classical Hematology Program provides diagnostic and supportive care services for patients with hematological abnormalities that may be benign or malignant. Our Non-Oncology Infusion program provides critical infusion services to patients with a variety of diagnoses.

Position Details:

Full-Time position (1.0 FTE)

Outpatient Hematology

Average of 13-14 patients per day (54 per week)

4 10s schedule Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Administrative time

Robust Onboarding Program

No call

We are seeking applicants with:

Ability to obtain an AZ license and DEA

Experience with infusion services desired

Experienced NPs with family practice or internal medicine experience are encouraged to apply

Motivated to develop autonomous role for continued program development
