The Banquet Bar supervisor is the leader in all things alcohol/and bar related. The Banquet Bar Supervisor is expected to review BEO’s, organize events with leadership, and are responsible for the purchasing and inventory of the banquet bars
Responsibilities
Reviewing BEO’s and forming a master schedule for bartenders and barbacks
Organizing with the bar team the bar sets for the events
Purchasing and inventorying all bar products including equipment
Tracking bar revenue with leadership
Completing all bar reports such as consumption reports and POS reports
Participating in mandatory training
Implementing safety procedures and enforcing company standards
Creating new ideas to enhance the guest experience
Looking for ways to drive revenue and also be more cost effective
Developing beverage menus to help the department evolve
Holding the team accountable to standards set by leadership
Participating in team meetings and mandatory hotel meetings
Enforces food and beverage safety standards
Maintains the bar storage and keeps the area clean and organized
Openly communicates with the banquet team as well as other departments
Helps maintain a positive work environment and promotes comradery within the team.
Qualifications
Is capable of lifting/pushing a minimum of 25lbs and can work in various weather conditions
This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.
Business may require additional hours throughout the work week to accommodate event needs and may require schedule changes and some flexibility in the schedule during high volume and peak season.
This is an hourly position and requires punching in and out and signing in and out before and after shifts.
