Cashier/Sales Associate - Overnights
GPM Investments, LLC – Overnight Shift (10 PM – 6 AM) Responsibilities
Greet customers with a smile and operate the register efficiently. Manage lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements. Offer friendly service and upsell products whenever appropriate. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the store’s interior and exterior, including deep‑cleaning high‑use restrooms, sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and taking out trash in all weather. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and fully merchandised. Perform sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and entryway maintenance. Volunteer for cross‑training in other departments such as deli when needed. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assist teammates and step in to help wherever required. Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years (21 years for certain states: AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO).
Availability
must include weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts. Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication). Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking). Reliability and responsibility: punctual, trustworthy, and dedicated to quality work. Detail‑oriented and comfortable working independently for extended periods. Willingness to work hard, stand for most of the shift, and perform indoor and outdoor tasks in all weather. Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required. Benefits
