FREE PARKING ON SITE Security Officer Job Responsibilities
Secure premises and personnel by monitoring property, surveillance equipment, and access points.
Investigate & report security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
Keep an accurate log of visitors, vendors and deliveries on site; announce arrivals when necessary.
Maintain the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stay alert at all times.
Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
Front desk concierge & customer service skills required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Security experience preferred.
Active NY Security License.
Driver’s License preferred.
Certification Requirements
NY State Security License.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma.
