Summary of the Opportunity Client Overview: We are hiring for a design and research team at a leading technology company, focused on creating new experiences for customers across Windows, Store, Cloud, Devices, and Mixed Reality.

Role Summary: As a UX Researcher II, you will be responsible for conducting user research on the Microsoft Store on Windows and the web. Your insights will inform the product strategy and design explorations of the Store, with the goal of deepening user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and prioritize research requests in collaboration with cross-discipline stakeholders.

Use a range of research techniques to inform product and design decisions throughout the product cycle.

Deliver timely and actionable research findings to key stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate research insights into the product.

Foster customer‑centric thinking within design and engineering teams.

Experience We Are Looking For to Drive Success MUST-HAVE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in human‑computer interaction, experimental/social/cognitive psychology, behavioral science, human factors, or a related field.

Minimum 3+ years of industry experience in conducting qualitative research for consumer products.

Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Experience with user research tools such as UserTesting, dscout, and Qualtrics.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the e‑commerce space, including online shopping and payment methods.
