Job Description Harford Community College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach on‑campus, online, and/or hybrid classes in the following subjects:
World Languages History Philosophy Religion
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver course content for assigned courses.
Maintain consistent communication with students, faculty, and department staff.
Use current instructional technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to support program goals and student success.
Qualifications
A Master's degree in the subject or a closely related field.
Must be a resident of Maryland or one of the contiguous states (Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia).
Authorization to work in the United States (no Visa sponsorship).
Prior teaching experience preferred; professional experience in the discipline is a plus.
Experience with an LMS and classroom technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching as part‑time or adjunct faculty.
Experience teaching online, including completion of required online training modules.
Available to teach during daytime, evenings, weekends, and throughout the academic calendar.
