Job Overview
Our client, a large healthcare facility located about 30 minutes from Charlotte, has a need for a Weekend Radiology Tech to join their team. You will be working Friday‑Sun 7 a‑7:30 p. They are offering an $8.00 / hr weekend shift differential.
Signing & Relocation Bonuses Up to $15k sign‑on and $5k relocation bonuses offered
Responsibilities Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the radiologist. Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
Essential Functions:
Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Documents patient history pertaining to the specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
Qualifications
Successful completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program in an AMA‑approved facility required.
ARRT (R) required.
BLS (AHA or ARC) required.
