The Role
We are seeking a strategic and execution focused PARTNER ENGAGEMENT & SALES MGR to lead high impact partner and customer engagements from initial pursuit through delivery. Acting as a partner program manager, this role drives business development efforts, secures commercial agreements, and ensures delivery readiness and quality.
Location This is a Hybrid position with expectations of being in the Lumen office located at 10401NE 8th Street Bellevue Washington 98004 an estimated 2 to 3 times weekly.
The Main Responsibilities Partner Program Management
Serve as a central coordinator for partner engagement throughout the pursuit and delivery life cycle.
Ensure partner commitments align with internal capabilities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
Monitor partner performance and facilitate alignment across teams to meet shared goals.
Opportunity Strategy & Leadership
Leads strategic pursuits with partners and customers, driving alignment with business development priorities.
Develop tailored pursuit strategies, win themes, and value propositions.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform positioning and engagement tactics.
Commercial Negotiation & Agreement Execution
Own the development, negotiation, and finalization of commercial agreements, including pricing, terms, and partnership structures.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and executive stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
Commercial Negotiation & Agreement Execution
Manage cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, legal, finance) to ensure pursuit milestones are met.
Maintain accountability for timeliness, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment from initiation through execution readiness.
Drive operational excellence across the pursuit life cycle.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Build and maintain trusted relationships with external partners and customers.
Function as a primary point of contact for all pursuit related communications and updates.
Ensure consistent and transparent engagement across internal and external stakeholders.
Proposal & Content Development
Oversee the creation of pursuit materials, including executive briefings, proposals, and presentations.
Ensure messaging is compelling, tailored, and aligned with customer and partner needs.
Delivery Readiness & Quality Assurance
Own the transition from pursuit to execution, ensuring all delivery criteria are met.
Drive completion of readiness checklists, including technical validation, partner enablement, and customer onboarding.
Facilitate go/ no-go decisions based on quality benchmarks and stakeholder sign off
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred or equivalent of 10 years’ experience
8+ Years in business development, strategic partnerships, or program management.
Proven success in leading complex pursuits and securing commercial agreements.
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, Smartsheet).
PMI, PMP, PGMP, or CBD P (or equivalent) are a plus.
Compensation This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges $145,530 - $194,040 in these states: WA
