Sales Supervisor
Responsibilities
Assume Manager’s role in supervising staff in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
Strive for sales excellence and results; ensure selling standards are met.
Work with customers and model excellent customer service and clienteling skills.
Maximize sales through strong floor supervision.
Ensure associates are trained on product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service and operations.
Provide information and feedback for Sales Associates.
Team‑sell with Sales Associates to contribute to the development of the selling team.
Control company assets—including key control, loss prevention measures, inventory paperwork, and adherence to the employee handbook.
Strive for 100% accuracy and compliance in cash, inventory, fixtures, and property.
Help execute floor‑set and promotional directives; ensure all store standards are met.
Maintain the selling floor neat, clean, organized, and reflective of the correct visual image.
Ensure presentation of all displays, fixtures, and visual areas reflect current visual direction.
Represent the fashion and style of Veronica Beard and showcase current fashion trends.
Demonstrate an overall finished fashion look.
Create a quality working environment that encourages others to develop.
Foster a work climate that inspires mutual trust, respect, professionalism, and teamwork to achieve goals.
Physical Demands
Operate computer/cash register.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb ladders 6‑12 feet.
Grasp, push, lift, and/or carry items weighing 3‑15 pounds with right/left hand.
Work Environment

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years retail store management experience in women’s apparel (or related field).
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Strong observation skills—identifying and assessing customer and employee behavior, reactions, and floor awareness.
Ability to retain and utilize data (e.g., names, merchandise, information, policies, and procedures).
