Automotive Technician

Performs work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended. Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time. Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician. Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins. Documents all work performed on the repair order. Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record within the last 3 years (DUI/DWI) Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test. ASE certification a plus but not required.
