Assistant Superintendent Location: Minneapolis, MN | Type: Full‑time

Role Overview The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for supporting on‑site coordination for all phases of T5 Data Center construction projects, including supporting coordination of subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Assistant Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.

Assist in performing quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.

Help ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.

Help coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

Help identify subcontractor non‑compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

Help identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.

Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite.

Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.

Assist in issuing notices of non‑compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.

Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.

Assist in compiling job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Complete other such duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5 management.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, required

3+ years Construction experience, required

1+ years Data Center experience, preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Project)

Yardi, Procor and Prolog experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

Experience with Division 2-10 (concrete through finish trade). Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst subcontractors and vendors.

Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.

Blueprint reading.

Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.

Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.

Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
