Road Maintenance Foreman - Up to $38/Hour + Per Diem
Location:
Nebraska (travel to Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, and Wyoming).
Schedule:
3 weeks on, 1 week off, with an expectation of about 60 hours a week typically. Working on Sundays is generally avoided but may be necessary depending on weather conditions to catch up on work.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of road construction crews, including laborers, operators, and subcontractors.
Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to meet project schedules.
Interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budget targets.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily safety meetings.
Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and clients.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, personnel hours, and equipment usage.
Identify and resolve issues on-site to minimize delays and disruptions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience in asphalt and/or concrete repair, particularly in parking lot maintenance.
Strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair techniques, materials, and equipment.
Experience with patching, crack filling, and resurfacing procedures.
Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools, such as asphalt cutters, compactors, and mixers.
Mechanical aptitude to make minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Electrical experience.
Self‑starter.
Proven leadership abilities.
