Drives strategic analysis and execution of high-impact initiatives, ensuring alignment with BMI’s strategic priorities and delivery of measurable business outcomes. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define priorities, develop actionable strategies, and ensure results delivery against complex projects.
LOCATION New York, NY office. BMI operates on a regular in-office hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Essential Functions : which may be representative, but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position:
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
Drives the execution of BMI’s strategic initiatives by applying analytical thinking, problem solving, and business management skills to inform organizational direction and deliver measurable results.
Leverages expertise and rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop actionable recommendations, articulates complex issues, and empowers informed decision-making across the organization.
Analytical Excellence & Business Acumen
Blends complex data (including financial data) and market intelligence to provide senior leadership with clear, data-driven, actionable insights and strategic guidance.
Develops and maintains detailed financial models to support M&A/partnership evaluations (including pro forma multi‑scenario operating models with synergies in M&A contexts) alongside the AVP, Strategic Partnerships.
Aligns recommendations with organizational priorities, market dynamics, and financial objectives.
Supports cross‑functional teams to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of strategic programs, maintaining alignment with scope and organizational goals.
Develops and manages comprehensive business cases, project plans, scopes of work, and critical path milestones to support successful initiative execution.
Implements and continuously improves project management governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Prepares and delivers executive‑level presentations that communicate strategic impact and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Facilitates meetings and provides regular status updates to the Strategic Programs team, Chief Transformation Officer, and other key leaders.
Builds consensus and influences stakeholders across functions to achieve strategic objectives and advance project outcomes.
Transitions seamlessly between individual contributor and thought leader roles, providing situationally appropriate support to drive results.
Maintains knowledge of evolving technologies, solutions, methodologies, and best practices to continuously enhance program effectiveness.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education Four (4) year bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience. MBA preferred.
Experience Minimum of five years as a Business Analyst (or similar role) in a corporate environment or at least two years in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, or PE.
Skills and Abilities
Experience conducting financial due diligence and supporting transaction decision‑making is a plus.
Proven expertise in leveraging the full Microsoft suite, including expert‑level Excel modeling skills (including complex formulas and dynamic modeling) and creating executive‑level presentations in PowerPoint.
Strong ability to synthesize complex data and develop actionable insights.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; adept at delivering executive‑level presentations and facilitating discussions using PowerPoint and other formats.
Proven capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills to influence decision‑making and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Demonstrated success in building consensus and influencing stakeholders across functions to achieve strategic objectives.
Highly organized with advanced planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Deep understanding of business and management principles, including organizational transformation, resource allocation, and cross‑functional coordination.
Skilled in resolving complex issues in corporate environments with professionalism and diplomacy.
SALARY RANGE The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance‑based bonuses.
