Job Title
EMT-Intermediate / Advanced EMT (Albuquerque Ambulance Service)
Location 4500 Montbel Pl NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87107-6832, United States of America
Compensation Base pay range: $16.63/hr – $27.41/hr. Sign‑on bonus: $2,500–$5,000, depending on level of experience.
Shift Schedule • 13‑hour shifts (3 per day) or 10‑hour shifts (4 per day) in Days, Nights, or Swing shifts.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-volume pre‑hospital 911 emergency response and inter‑facility transportation.
Provide pre‑hospital emergency care and perform in‑scope ILS interventions such as oxygen administration, CPR, defibrillation, splinting, bleeding control, and wound dressing.
Document and maintain accurate medical records through ImageTrend Elite charting software.
Operate emergency vehicles safely, consistent with EVOC guidelines.
Attend departmental staff meetings and in‑service educational programs.
Proactively utilize best practices to minimize response and drop times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current New Mexico driver’s license with no relevant restrictions.
Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable under Presbyterian policy.
State of New Mexico EMT‑Intermediate/AEMT license.
Valid BLS, DOT, FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses and any other required certifications.
Ability to perform CPR and all skills associated with EMT‑Intermediate licensure.
1–2 years of EMT experience preferred.
