Territory Manager (Comfort Medical) – Atlanta
The Territory Manager is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through selling activities that include cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, promoting services, and driving market share and sales growth. The Territory Manager will target key customers by selling Comfort Medical’s service portfolio.
Major Areas of Accountability Business Acumen
Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop a clear plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize territory and company goals, analyzing sales and marketing data to identify leverageable opportunities.
Understand each customer’s environment, including clinical, financial, and other key decision makers, their concerns, and opportunities for Comfort Medical.
Identify and target growth opportunities with community-based programs, especially continence-based users.
Generate demand for assigned rehab centers and urology practices within the territory.
Selling Skills
Support community support groups and mentor newly injured patients transitioning from rehab to home.
Demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy and present value proposition, including financial and clinical impact.
Plan daily call routines to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts based on sales time allocation, potential, geography, and sales process development.
Utilize all available tools to maximize sales growth, marketing directives, sales reports, and educational materials.
Maintain knowledge of competitive activity and sales volume in each targeted account.
Relationship Building
Retain and grow business within the current customer base by identifying opportunities and formulating sales strategies.
Develop and maintain long‑term relationships that increase the use of Comfort Medical as a provider within target accounts.
Build productive cross‑functional relationships to share knowledge and leverage synergies within the organization, including Coloplast field sales.
Clinical Knowledge and Self‑Development
Clear of clinical and technical product knowledge.
Strong understanding of competitive activity, products, current market trends, and industry information.
Attend industry meetings and events for business development opportunities, such as trade shows and CMSA meetings.
Administrative
Organize and manage information using the designated CRM tool.
Maintain current records and administer duties, including sales reporting, expense management, and use of PowerBI and Brightree for timely account follow‑up and planning.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including applicable laws, the Advamed Code of Ethics, and company policies.
Perform additional assigned duties as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
Required Education &Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of med tech sales experience, OR
2‑year associate degree with 5+ years of med tech sales experience, OR
7+ years of med tech sales experience.
DME or service‑specific experience preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, 25–50%.
Must meet credentialing requirements to access healthcare facilities or systems.
Adherence to ethical standards and applicable regulations, including the Advamed Code of Ethics.
Valid driver’s license.
