KP Aviation, a global supplier and acquirer of aftermarket aviation assets and components, is seeking a Senior Trading Manager to support its expanding international portfolio. This senior‑level leadership role is responsible for managing the trading pipeline, executing end‑to‑end transactions, and driving portfolio performance across aircraft engines, airframes, and related components.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the trading pipeline, including process oversight supporting serviceable asset remarketing activities
Lead customer‑facing trading initiatives, acting as a primary commercial point of contact for operators, lessors, brokers, and strategic partners
Develop and execute trading and remarketing strategies aligned with portfolio objectives, liquidity targets, and market conditions
Perform advanced financial modeling, valuation, and profitability analysis to support pricing, bid strategy, and transaction approval
Analyze market dynamics, asset liquidity, utilization trends, and competitive intelligence to identify trading opportunities and optimize asset positioning
Partner with Technical and Product Line teams to refine underwriting assumptions, asset valuations, and exit strategies
Structure, negotiate, and execute purchase, sale, and remarketing agreements to maximize returns while managing commercial risk
Oversee transaction due diligence, including technical reviews, contract evaluation, financial validation, and risk assessment
Ensure all trading activities comply with internal governance standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
Support asset onboarding, disposition planning, and post‑transaction performance tracking to optimize revenue realization
Review and validate financial models, pricing assumptions, and deal economics prepared by junior team members
Mentor and develop junior trading and commercial personnel while supporting leadership in achieving departmental goals
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across trading workflows, market intelligence, analytics, and execution processes
Prepare and present trading performance updates, market insights, and deal recommendations to senior leadership
Perform additional strategic and commercial assignments as required by executive leadership
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in aviation aftermarket trading, asset remarketing, or commercial asset management
Strong customer‑facing and negotiation skills with the ability to represent the company effectively in global markets
Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including Excel‑based valuation and scenario analysis
Deep understanding of aircraft and engine trading markets, asset liquidity, and portfolio risk management
Ability to develop and execute trading strategies in alignment with executive leadership and investment objectives
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex transactions from origination through execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure trading environment
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines
Demonstrated professionalism, composure, and collaborative mindset in high‑stakes commercial situations
