Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing communication strategies to promote organizational initiatives
Create engaging content for digital platforms including social media, websites, and newsletters
Support the planning and execution of events and campaigns to enhance community outreach
Conduct research on industry trends and audience preferences to inform communication efforts
Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
Maintain and update the organization's media contact list and distribution lists
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
