Hooks, Meng, and Clement (HMC) is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative, legal, and marketing support to the Founding Partner of our growing Workers’ Compensation practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational ability, sound judgment, and the highest degree of discretion while managing complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. HMC is a dynamic and expanding Industrial Relations law firm based in Las Vegas, Nevada, representing clients with integrity, precision, and purpose. Responsibilities
Manage the Founding Partner’s daily schedule, including extensive calendar coordination, meeting preparation, and deadline tracking.
Prepare materials for meetings, hearings, and presentations with accuracy and thoroughness.
Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of the Partner.
Coordinate domestic travel arrangements, itineraries, and related expense reports.
Maintain and manage legal case files, records, and confidential documents.
Schedule and coordinate client meetings, internal conferences, and communications with opposing counsel.
Assist with monthly billable time entries and related administrative reporting.
Plan and execute firm-sponsored events, including internal meetings, client appreciation events, and staff activities.
Provide marketing and event coordination support, including participation in golf tournaments, galas, professional conferences, and community engagement initiatives.
Assist with marketing materials, sponsorship opportunities, and brand visibility efforts that reflect the firm’s reputation for excellence.
Serve as a liaison between the Founding Partner and firm personnel, ensuring the efficient flow of communication and information across departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant experience as an Executive Assistant required.
Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage high-volume work under tight deadlines.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in billing software, Clio preferred but not required.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
Highly organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and initiative consistent with supporting executive leadership.
This is an in-office position. Must reside in the Southern Nevada area.
Compensation $65,000 annual salary
