Role Summary / Objective The Plat CAD+QC Specialist is responsible for driving excellence at front‑end processes to further enhance speed, accuracy, and overall client experience.
Qualifications
Strong mathematical, computer, analytic, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience leading, mentoring, advising, and training teams and individuals is a plus.
Credentials, certifications, and/or licenses in relevant fields are a plus.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in surveying and mapping, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, IT, or related field; or 1–3 years experience working in surveying, drafting, or other relevant field or position, or willingness and capability to train/learn.
Responsibilities
Efficiently operate CAD programs while utilizing optimal drafting techniques and practices.
Input information into CAD drawings from plats, construction‑related documents, and checklists.
Convey information with clarity, conciseness, and completeness.
Conduct Quality Control review on completed drafting orders to ensure accuracy.
Identify potential issues and escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
Address, resolve, and/or elevate problems as appropriate.
Maintain a robust understanding of industry trends and best practices.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
