Job Overview We're looking for a driven, execution-oriented Inventory Manager to own and expand inbound inventory operations within a fast-paced, high-output pharmacy production environment. This role sits at the nerve center of operations responsible for the smooth intake of hundreds of SKUs per day while maintaining impeccable accuracy, compliance, and flow.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in motion. You'll balance people leadership with systems thinking, making real-time decisions while partnering closely with Production, Fulfillment, and Inventory Control to keep throughput humming and errors nonexistent. What You'll Do
Own all inbound inventory operations, from dock arrival through system entry and storage
Lead, schedule, and develop a high-performing inventory intake team
Establish, document, and enforce intake and verification SOPs to drive consistency and scale
Ensure inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, inspection, and documentation practices
Maintain real-time inventory visibility across ERP/WMS platforms
Oversee quality checks, compliance requirements, and lot tracking for regulated products
Manage supplier deliveries, courier schedules, and inbound calendars
Partner cross-functionally with Production, Fulfillment, and Inventory Control leaders to eliminate bottlenecks
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing data-backed solutions
Monitor discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions
Maintain an organized, safe, and audit-ready inbound inventory environment
Train and coach team members to operate with urgency, precision, and accountability
What You Bring
3+ years of leadership experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics operations
Proven success managing inbound inventory in high-volume SKU environments
Strong command of inventory systems (ERP, WMS, barcode scanning tools)
Deep attention to detail with zero tolerance for miscounts, shrink, or compliance gaps
Experience working with suppliers, couriers, and internal stakeholders
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure
Clear communicator who can lead teams and align cross-functional partners
Metrics-driven mindset with comfort using dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting
Hands‑on leadership style sets the bar and works alongside the team when needed
Preferred Experience
Background in pharmaceutical, medical, or other regulated inventory environments
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization frameworks
Advanced proficiency with tools such as Excel, Airtable, NetSuite, ShipStation, or similar WMS platforms
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Job Type: Full‑time /Direct Hire 100% On Site
Expected Hours: 44 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM Flexibility required for early deliveries or occasional weekend coverage depending on volume. This schedule ensures:
Alignment with early morning inventory deliveries
Collaboration with production and fulfillment teams
Time to resolve discrepancies, reporting, and throughput management
Dedicated time for team supervision, coaching, and inventory coordination
Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 USD
