We are seeking a Rental & Delivery Fueling Technician to support generator rental operations based out of Romeoville, IL. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude who wants to build a long‑term career in power generation. In this role, you’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team delivering, fueling, maintaining, and supporting rental generators in the field. The company provides hands‑on training in preventive maintenance, fueling operations, and—over time—generator startups and installations.
Position Offers

What You’ll Do
Deliver, fuel, pick up, and relocate rental generators at customer sites.
Perform basic preventive maintenance (oil changes, fuel filters, inspections).
Assist with generator startups and installations as skills develop.
Yard organization and equipment staging.
Material handling, shipping, and receiving.
Safely tow trailers and transport equipment.
Manage parts inventory on service truck.
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicle.
Attend safety meetings and technical training sessions.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
DOT Medical Card (required).
Experience towing and pulling trailers.
Mechanical aptitude or hands‑on mechanical background.
Diesel engine or generator experience is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
