Service Technician & Mechanic – Crane & Heavy Equipment (Maintenance)
ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. seeks a Crane and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Mechanic. Hands‑on experience with cranes and lift equipment is a big plus. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package. The position is eligible for a $300.00 sign‑on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.
Position Summary ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair all makes of cranes and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will work independently, understand technical manuals, and communicate effectively with service writers, supervisors, parts departments, and customers.
Essential Functions
Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes and other equipment.
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
Read, understand, and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings.
Maintain positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department, and customers.
Prepare proper documentation of actions taken.
Operate diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain compliance with safety requirements and regulations.
Skills and Experience Requirements
Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical background.
Basic set of mechanic's hand tools required.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity.
Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus.
A CDL is desirable but not required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Manufacturer's training will be an integral part of this position. Applicant must be willing to learn new computer, electronic, and hydraulic systems, follow evolving safety guidelines, and remain certified within the various portions of our field such as assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
