Job Description
With over 70 years of operating experience, Primoris T&D provides comprehensive services including engineering and design, installation and maintenance, material and equipment procurement, and repair of electrical transmission, distribution, substation, wireless communication, and storm restoration. Our expertise ranges from small consulting projects to multi-million dollar turnkey programs.
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee internal and customer-led projects. This role guides teams, coordinates resources, and ensures successful project delivery from start to finish. Primary Responsibilities
Lead collaboration between internal staff and external partners to achieve project goals
Organize and facilitate project planning, keeping teams aligned and focused
Track key milestones, monitor progress, and address challenges
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, documented, and met
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver results on time and within scope
Support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning
Present updates and negotiate priorities with senior leadership
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients
Additional Functions
Build trust and strong working relationships with teams and clients
Develop clear project plans and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
Ensure vendors and partners meet agreed standards and deliverables
Foster a positive environment for team collaboration and problem-solving
Coordinate resources for smooth project execution
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and report progress to management
Manage risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track
Maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders
Ideal Qualifications
Proven ability to work effectively across departments and in uncertain situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and present ideas clearly
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance competing priorities and work under pressure
Service-oriented mindset and attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in project management, preferably in a leadership role
Willingness to travel up to 20% for meetings with teams in different locations
Educational & Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
2+ years of experience in project management within the power delivery sector
Understanding of EPC processes, including design, procurement, and construction
Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with teams and stakeholders at all levels
