Recourse Communications
Recourse Communications Inc. (RCI) is working with the City of Lincoln to find an experienced Building Cleaner Manager who will oversee second-shift operations for the City/County complex. You’ll lead a team of 30 cleaners, work alongside a respected hands‑on supervisor, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and building readiness.
This role is ideal for a steady, people‑focused leader who knows how to motivate diverse personalities, manage operations, and keep teams running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Lead, schedule, and support a team of ~30 second‑shift cleaners
Work closely with a trusted, well‑liked supervisor
Conduct inspections and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met
Address performance concerns with a calm, non‑confrontational approach
Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement of cleaning supplies/equipmentMaintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety compliance
What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years commercial/institutional custodial experience
2+ years supervising cleaning personnel
Experience managing diverse personalities and building morale
Prior second‑shift experience preferred
The Perks
You’ll be paid
$26.42–$33.84/hour + $0.45/hr. shift differential
Step increase after successful 6‑month probation
80 hours vacation, 104 hours sick leave, 11 holidays, plus personal leave
Medical, dental, vision, FSA, and $30,000 County‑paid life insurance
Deferred Compensation options
After 6 months: County contributions to PEHP and 401(a) with 100% match on 8%
Up to 6 weeks paid parental leave
Supportive leadership that ensures teams have proper equipment and resources
