Position Summary Oversees the performance of Management and Bargaining unit employees performing on-line and outage Corrective and Preventative maintenance activities.

To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening .

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. A reasonable salary range is: California Minimum: $169,000 California Maximum: $289,000

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for implementation Corrective Action Program for their respective department

Represents Maintenance (Line) ownership of Training (Qualifications, Curriculum Review Committee (CRC), Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Technical Oversight Committee (TOC)

Chairs Department Observation Review Meetings (ORM) to improve Maintenance's performance

Develops and implements work plans in support Maintenance area's goals

Evaluates, coaches, and mentors Supervisors on performance and job expectations

Manages Supervisors-Nonexempt, Maintenance

Plans, reviews and approves the Maintenance Section's budget

Provides direction in Maintenance in support of business area objectives with short-term impact on functional goals

Provides leadership, guidance and feedback to supervisors regarding technical and work process issues

Sets department goals in support of established objectives utilizing the LEAN program

Qualifications Minimum:

High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma

7 years of power plant experience or applicable industrial experience with a minimum of 1 year of nuclear power experience. (A maximum of 2 years of remaining 6 years can be fulfilled by satisfactory completion of academic or related technical training on a one-for-one time basis.)

Desired:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
