Deskside Support

position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Houston, TX/Minot, ND
Salary: $30.00/Hourly
Role: Deskside Support
Primary Skills: HelpDesk
Role Description: The
Deskside Support
must have 3+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands‑on deskside support to resolve issues related to desktop/laptop hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and other IT-related equipment.
Handle installation, configuration, and upgrades of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN, network connectivity, and common enterprise applications.
Work with ticketing systems to track, document, and resolve user incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Provide support for video conferencing tools and meeting room equipment.
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding tasks including setting up new systems and managing user access.
Maintain inventory and asset management of IT equipment.
Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security standards.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in deskside/end‑user support or IT support roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience supporting enterprise hardware (HP, Dell, Lenovo, etc.).
Must be able to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience
Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
Travel: No
Local Preferred: Yes
Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
