Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master graduate's degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.

Broad working knowledge of requirement analysis, designing, developing, testing and implementing software applications and solutions.

12+ years of related experience in automotive, aerospace, electrical and communications, or related field.

Extensive experience in designing, developing and reviewing technical flows, project specification, flow charts and other system documentation.

Working knowledge in automotive protocols such as CAN, J1939, UDS, multiplex communication systems, knowledge of networking protocol SSH, MQTT, hands‑on experience in Linux, Android OS, ability to use OBD tools for ECU flashing.

Working experience in Vector CANoe, knowledge in CAN communication, Ethernet, J1939, networking protocol SSL, MQTT, and container apps (Docker).

Knowledge in Raspberry Pi for API testing.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Lead and collaborate with a cross‑functional team for adequate detailing of test effort estimation and create execution plans for OTA and connectivity testing.

Conduct technical design reviews to ensure the project delivers per program and architecture.

Provide subject‑matter expertise support in developing automation frameworks.

API testing with experience using Raspberry Pi (value added).

Develop test cases, test plan, design test strategy, test execution and deliverables to assess functional and non‑functional quality and reliability of components and/or systems for global connected services, IoT, OTA and truck‑based E2E testing, regression, and system acceptance testing.

Coordinate onsite and offshore efforts, assign work, and ensure teams across global locations follow the same structure/architecture definition and attributes.

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of V&V engineers to build, sustain and grow test capabilities.

Work with CAN Bus communication: monitor CAN traffic, understand CAN node acknowledgements, and diagnostic message priority.

Advise on setting up labs, test benches, testing practice, governance, and artifacts.

Drive requirements‑driven testing with 100% traceability across requirements, development, test, and defect management.

Continuously track plan versus actual for assigned projects regarding scope, quality of output, and course correction in collaboration with project stakeholders.

Deliver projects per commitment.

Report project status weekly to prevent surprises.

Manage changes within the project through change management processes.

Define software testing tools such as ALM, HP QC, and Agile tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.

Know‑how of network connectivity related to how trucks operate.

Perform E2E validation, SIT, system acceptance testing, regression testing, and support coordination.

Show expertise in troubleshooting infrastructure and application problems.

Stay current with the latest technology developments.

Exhibit strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.

Demonstrate great analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Require occasional travel.
