Job Overview
Operations Supervisor – Lansing, MI – Oversee delivery drivers and warehouse workers in a distribution center handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts.
Shift and Schedule 5:00 am until finished – Monday to Friday – Flexibility to work weekends as needed is required.
Responsibilities
Direction, coordination and evaluation of all warehouse/distribution activities for assigned warehouse workers, loaders and drivers/routes.
Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
Supervise a team of delivery drivers, warehouse workers and loaders.
Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.
Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
Supervise planning and scheduling of company transport vehicles to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize downtime and excessive overtime.
Monitor team to ensure vehicles and other equipment are well maintained and related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Maintain optimal inventory levels of full goods to fulfill daily sales needs.
Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA, FDA and DOT.
Total Rewards
$70,500 – $85,000 per year
Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a warehouse/distribution center
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
