We seek a Landscape Construction Foreman to supervise a crew, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations for the landscape construction crew.
Coordinate equipment and materials needed for each project.
Supervise and train crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety.
Maintain project schedules and complete projects within deadlines.
Ensure quality control on job sites.
Safely operate equipment such as loaders, skid steers, and excavators to perform landscape construction projects.
Load/unload cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials.
Read landscape plans and provide material layouts.
Record daily timekeeping of work hours for crew members.
Ensure equipment and truck/trailer are in working order and properly maintained.
Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with landscape construction projects.
Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation.
Supervisory experience.
Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
