Logistics Coordinator – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
Must be actively located in the Ponte Vedra or Jacksonville, FL area.
Job Summary The Logistics Coordinator assists customers in all aspects of their shipping needs, including bookings, delivery requirements, issuing receipts, and confirming deliveries with ports.
Responsibilities
Respond to all customer booking requests in a timely manner.
Ensure all bookings are accurately rated to facilitate bill of lading creation and forecast reporting.
Track and trace customer cargo; review and process hazardous information, verify cargo dimensions, provide dock receipts, and solve general terminal and cargo issues.
Reconcile bookings and load lists.
Update and manage customer portals to ensure cargo is booked accurately.
Respond to rate quotes in accordance with policy and provide pertinent customer information to sales staff.
Contribute to and expedite solutions to customer needs/problems.
Qualifications
3+ years of prior Customer Service experience.
Logistics industry experience preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks.
Self-starter who looks to improve processes.
Must be able to work independently and be a team player.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
