Job Title: Technician Location: Chico, CA Pay Grade: Hourly, non‑exempt

Position Summary You will play a crucial role in restoring properties damaged by water, fire, mold, and other hazards. You will assess and document damage, coordinate restoration processes, and provide exceptional customer service alongside your team.
Responsibilities
Perform structure and contents cleaning per IICRC guidelines.
Assess contents and prepare detailed inventories and photo documentation.
Inspect and evaluate property damage to determine restoration scope.
Execute tasks related to water extraction, fire and smoke damage repair, mold remediation, and structural drying.
Use specialized equipment to carry out restoration processes safely and efficiently.
Document the restoration process, including assessments and work performed for reporting and insurance purposes.
Communicate with clients to explain the restoration process, answer questions, and address concerns.
Adhere to all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10/30/40 Certification.
Previous experience in smoke damage restoration or related cleaning fields.
Familiarity with DocuSketch, Mica, or Restore 365.
Work Environment This in‑field position requires frequent travel to active job sites that may contain hazardous materials. PPE will be provided. Job sites may lack electricity and demand work in extreme temperatures, humidity, and varied conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, ladder use, and lifting.
