Overview The Client Reporting Financial Analyst reports directly to the Client Reporting Finance Manager/Director. This position will partner with the Finance Directors and Client Finance Leads within the Brands of Publicis Communications North America to oversee all financial aspects related to a given client or group of clients

Responsibilities

Work with client finance lead to create accurate revenue forecasts for annual and rolling budgets

Reconcile Revenue within the general ledger and explain variances in results vs forecasts

Responsible for mid-month revenue estimates (flash) in order to see where the client(s) is tracking for month end and flagging when there is a significant variance

Create accurate Burn Reports to compare actual hours vs budget and elevate to Client Finance Lead/Finance Director in order to adjust staffing plans or scope

Assist in pulling revenue reports and calculation of revenue based on time & materials, percent of completion, etc.

Reconcile time reports for missing time and errors in coding

Assist with client profitability reports and metrics

Ensure job setup is properly completed to reduce system issues

Prepare and review of unbillable client costs

Assist with preparation of managerial reports to account and executive teams

Assist with external and internal audits

Qualifications

Resilient problem solver - Has the foresight to recognize problems with postings/data, can resolve issues efficiently, and knows when to seek guidance from others

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing and fast paced work environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and able to work according to fixed calendar cycles

Ability to work independently is a must, as well as in team environment

Dedicated to meeting others’ expectations and requirements

Ability to manage large data with use of Macros and VBA is an advantage

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Advanced in Microsoft Excel to streamline and make reports more efficient using functions and formulas, (Vlookups, If, SumIf, Pivot Tables, charts/graphs, etc.)

1 to 3 years of Client Finance experience preferably within Advertising, Marketing and Communications

Knowledge in ERP systems, specifically SAP or similar.

Compensation Range: $50,065 - 73,944 annually This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
