We’re looking for a passionate Cook to join our kitchen team at Out West Restaurant Group. In this role you’ll prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback’s quality specifications, while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare food items with speed and accuracy.
Work in our well-designed kitchen areas – line cooker positions in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, Make Ups and Kitchen Prep Cooks.
Maintain equipment and the cleanliness of your surroundings.
Collaborate with the team to achieve standards in food preparation and delivery.
Follow safe food handling, cleanliness, safety and sanitation standards during the shift.
Prepare food using proper safety equipment, tools and recipe specifications, with direction from Management.
Practice food safety and sanitation, restock kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift.
Requirements
Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments.
Ability to walk, stand or bend for long periods while performing essential job duties.
Visual acuity to include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus.
