Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to work as a Science Camp Teacher with our NJ‑based day camps to run science and engineering activities for kids. Summer seasonal position (4‑8 weeks). Curriculum and materials are provided! Teach exciting topics with hands‑on activities, such as engineering, circuits, flight and motion, the human body, physics of amusement park rides, basic chemistry, forensic science, dinosaur and fossils, and more. Requirements
Ability to travel to multiple northern NJ sites (one site per week), Monday‑Friday.
Teaching or student‑teaching experience in K‑12 schools strongly preferred.
Experience with children in a camp or educational setting.
Experience with children ages 7‑14.
Must be comfortable leading a group of up to 15 students independently through hands‑on science activities across multiple domains.
Ability to manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes.
Rate: $18/hr – $25/hr.
