Provides high quality, cost effective care to inpatients and outpatients accessing AMC for cardiac care. Care includes diagnosing, staging, and treating Cardiac diseases. The physician employs clinical assessment techniques and synthesis of complex data from multiple sources in planning and implementing treatment plans and care. Collaborates with Primary Care, Hospitalists, Surgeons and Emergency Department and other specialists to facilitate high quality patient care. Responsible for oversight of Cardiac testing and has supervision over any Advanced Practice Providers that work within the Cardiology Department. Educational Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO) and active New York State license with current DEA certificate. Successful completion of a residency program and Fellowship. Must be board certified or eligible in Cardiology in accordance with AMC Medical Staff Bylaws. Maintains a good working relationship with all departments of AMC. Rate of Pay
Base Salary of $588,393.00, Annual Equivalent.
